We need YOU!

The National Institute of biology (NIB), based in Slovenia, is searching for creative minds for producing videos promoting EU-funded projects (GoJelly, Ocean4Biotech, B–Blue). All materials used in the production of the videos must be authors’ own work.
What do we need? Videos should promote one of the suggested topics:
Topic 1) jellyfish: beautiful and potentially useful to solve marine pollution?
Topic 2) the use of marine resources for making the products for food, feed, health, wellbeing and other industries.
We will promote up to three videos from each topic that will be created by you. The award for the first place is 5.000€, for the second – 3.000€ and for the third one – 1.000€.
Authors will be acknowledged in the videos, while the owner of copyrights is NIB. All videos will be used for the promotion of the projects, thus your work/piece of art will be visible on the European and international level.
How to apply? Choose one topic (either 1 or 2 but not both), make an example of your work (not longer than 15 seconds) and send it to us (CreativityNIB@gmail.com). All out-of-the-box ideas are welcome: animation, slides, videos, doodles, narration, bed-time storytelling, and more. Your imagination is your limit! Your contributions must be in English.
The three selected creators from videos in each topic will be notified and provided with further instructions on what the projects are about to give further outline on the compulsory content. However, we will leave space for your own creativity on their visual appearance!
Please note, that the received video examples of the authors, which were not selected for making final videos, can be used for promotion of the projects. The names of the authors and their contact details will be specified.
