GoJelly at the European Parliament
10. 4. 2018
It was a very productive day for the GoJelly team today! We were represented at the European Parliament on the conference “Mission: Plastic Free Ocean” that was organized by Searica, The Seas, Rivers, Islands and Coastal Areas Intergroup at the European Parliament that brings together more than 80 members from six different political groups and from 19 Member States.
The event was followed by the opening of the Ocean Plastics Lab exhibition right in front of the Parliament. This is a travelling exhibition presented in 4 containers that describe the issue of plastics and microplastics pollution together with the possible solutions. Our GoJelly project was among the possible solutions and we were happy to discover that GoJelly initiated a lot of interest from the visitors. GoJelly was represented by two scientists, Ana Rotter from NIB, Slovenia and Andy Booth from SINTEF, Norway.
