Catch me if you can

29. 3. 2018

The jellyfish catch has official started – yesterday our team of researchers from NIB (Slovenia) went out on a field trip in the Gulf of Trieste and caught huge amounts of barrel jellyfish (Rhizostoma pulmo), which were immediately transferred in the laboratory and pre-processed to be used for several applications within Horizon2020 GoJelly project. As can be seen from the pictures this is not an easy job – it requires a multidisciplinary team of researchers that are physical fit at the same time. Please stay tuned and follow the world’s jellyest job.
